India Post ties up with Nathella Jewelers to facilitate Gold savings schemes


This is a first of its kind initiative that will make savings simple and accessible to all in the city. 
  Nathella Sampathu Chetty Jewellers and India Post join hands to make investment in gold saving scheme an elevating experience for all the consumers across Chennai. This is a first of its kind initiative that will make savings simple and accessible to all in the city. 
A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between India Post and Nathella Jewellery, Chennai to facilitate easy collection of monthly installments of their Gold Jewellery Savings Scheme, “ZERO % Purchase Plan” save in Gold. 
With this tie up consumers can pay their monthly installments for Nathella’s “ZERO % Purchase Plan” and save in Gold at their nearest post office. The payments will be accepted only in cash and a receipt will be issued in a similar way as it is usually done at the Nathella Showrooms. The monthly installments needs to be in multiples of Rs. 1000/-.
Speaking on the occasion,  Prapanna Kumar, Managing Director, Nathella Jewellery said, “We are delighted to join hands with 106 Post Offices across Chennai to reach out to our potential customers. This initiative is a part of our Customer Centric program to make it convenient for our clients to pay their monthly installments for the “ZERO % Purchase Plan” and ensuring that their target of saving in gold is met. We are planning to expand our tie up with more post offices branches in Chennai and extend this service to Vellore &Hosur to make savings easier and accessible.”
“The added benefit for our saving scheme customers is that they need not pay for the wastages and making charges while purchasing gold jewellery which will certainly enrich their shopping experience.” added  Prapanna
Speaking on the occasion, Thomas Lourduraj A, IPS  Senior Superintendent of Post Office, South Division Chennai said, “India Post has been constantly innovating and optimizing their infrastructure be it convenience of paying telephone bills or retailing logistics. For the first time, we are joining hands with a Jewellery brand to make savings easy and within the reach of customers. We look forward to participate more in such customer centric program.” 
Nathella has recently inaugurated their new showroom at Hosur; with this Nathella today have 6 outlets, four in Chennai, one at Vellore and one at Hosur. Nathella Jewellery always strives to bring innovation and adopt diverse ways to connect with their customers. It was the first brand to introduce door step collection of their monthly payments by just sending an SMS.

    what a foolish idea.now the gold rate is increasing day by day.if that concern goes in loss and close the shop who will take responsibility? the postmasters have to get all the beatings from the public as it was happened in the case of UTI which has cheated the public and the bpm of a village post office was carroed by the public with beatings and tied with a tree in the centre of the village.
