Addition of G.P. in India post website.

Sub - Addition of G.P. in India post website.
Sir,
       Please refer this office e -mail dated 14.12.2011 where in the procedure for adding G.P. information in the village link web page under Quick link in India Post website was forwarded. There after hard copy of the said instruction was sent to both ROs and SPOs/ SSPOs of Head quarter Region on 15.12.2011. The compliance of addition of G.Ps have not been received. All the G.Ps under the unit of HOs should be added in the aforesaid website  without delay. You may refer the Govt. of Orissa website for the name of the GP and previous musters for easy reference. The detail procedure for such addition is sent as an attachment. Please preserve the document. The compliance report may  be submitted within a week along with following additional information.
1. Total number of GPs under HO.
2. Total number of GPs added in the website.

New Features in NREGS Data Entry
CEPT was directed to provide additional information about Gram panchayat in the report option of existing NREGS webpages. To provide the additional information,  one more input item is to be collected through  ‘Data Entry Page’.
PROCEDURE
Give your credentials for the webpage
Go to NREGS>dataentry> you will get the page for data entry

Gram Panchayath
One new field "Gram Panchayath" has been added in  data entry page .
Once you select the  post office, all Gram Panchayaths under the Taluk/Sub-District of the post office are populated in the drop down.
The Gram Panchayath to which the work order is related is to be selected from the  drop down menu. Other inputs can be keyed in  as per the existing practise  and click  the  button "Save" to save the inputs.
  If the  Gram Panchayath is missing then data entry is to be  done as per  the following.
Select the option "New Gram Panchayath" available in the drop down list.
Enter the name of the New Gram Panchayath.
Continue with other data entry and save the details of the transaction.

After the details of the transaction are saved, the New Gram Panchayath will be automatically added and available for selection in future.
