BANGALORE: HMT Limited on Saturday unveiled its new product range. Company Chairman S B Sridhar said that HMT will compete with other watch makers with its new range of attractive products. “We have introduced new models and all will be in the range of Rs 1,600 to Rs 6,000. We have also tied up with the Chennai Postal Department where we have put up five stalls at the post office. In Bangalore, we have approached four post offices. This was done in consultation with the Government Of India,” he said.
Deputy Director General of Doordarshan Kendra, Bangalore, Mahesh Joshi said, “HMT watches are still the time keepers of the nation and my childhood memories are associated with this watch.” Former IT Secretary Vivek Kulkarni and Managing Director of HMT Ltd S Paulraj were present.
