Massive demonstration by Circle J C A in front of the office of the Chief PMG, Odisha Circle in protest against abolition of posts

In accordance with the direction of the Central J C A comprising National Federation of Postal Employees ( NFPE ) and Federation of National Postal Organizations(FNPO), the Circle J C A hold a massive demonstration today during lunch hour seriously protesting the arbitrary order of the Postal Directorate for abolition of 17093 posts earmarked for abolition from 2005 to 2008 and kept vacant (but not abolished) pending decision of the Finance Ministry.

            The programme was leaded by Com. R C Mishra, Circle Secretary, AIPEU, Group-C, Odisha Circle and Vice-President CHQ. Condemning the attitude of both the Finance Ministry and Department of Posts, the leaders warned the Govt. to desist from  abolition of posts failing which the employees will be compelled to continue with several such agitational programmes leading to indefinite strike even.
