Joint General Body Meeting conducted successfully by Bhubaneswar Division for effective participation in nation-wide two-days strike on 20th & 21st February, 2013

 In order to motivate the staff members of for successful participation in the two days nation-wide strike on 20^th & 21^st February, 2013 called by the 11 central trade unions and endorsed by the Confederation of Central Govt. Employees and Workers and Central JCA comprising NFPE, FNPO, AIPEU GDS ( NFPE) and NUGDS, a combined General Body Meeting was held on 10.02.2013 in the campus of Bhubaneswar GPO under the president-ship of Com. Purna Chandra Dash, President, AIPEU, Group-C, Bhubaneswar Division. The meeting was addressed by Com. B Samal, Com. Sudhir Kumar Swain and Com. Ghanashyama Panda, Divisional Secretaries of AIPEU, Group-C, Postman / MTS and AIPEU GDS ( NFPE ) respectively.

Hundreds of members had attended the meeting both from rural and town post offices. Briefly describing the charter of demands, every effort was taken by Com. B Samal in justifying the reasons for going on such a two-days historic strike. All the participating members were convinced the need of the hour and committed to make the strike successful.
