Dear Sir, writing only may not be the right solution. High time to review our strategy for setting the things/ house in order. The atrocities of higher officers on the Gp-C employees deployed at operative offices is definite a matter of concern. It is not understood as such how someone sitting pretty in a air conditioned room availing 5days week can dictate for Sunday working? Whatever revenue is earned it is only due to the poor but honest SPM battering for existence at the nook & corner of villages but mindless expenses for computerization,software development, business development etc has SQUEEZED THE DEPARTMENT to a corner of lost glory. The union must be willing to address the concerns and should act as the platform to vent the depression and frustration of its members/comrades. I therefore urge upon the leadership for stringent actions and not only demand for withdrawal of such dictatorial orders but rather demand 5 days week for all operative staff in proportionate to other administrative staff od payment of ex-Gratia for Saturday working.
