BHUBANESWAR: Several valuable documents were damaged at the general post office (GPO) here on Friday after rainwater seeped into the building, affecting service throughout the day.
The sub-office savings bank (SOSB) of the three-storey GPO building was worst-hit as rainwater entered the floor, drenching files and electrical appliances. The quarters of the senior post master, located on the second floor, also bore the brunt.
