A special coloured envelop on Nabakalebara festival, designed by the Postal department, was unveiled at the two-day Postal exhibition “Shripex-2015” in Odisha’s Puri town on Saturday.
Renowned sand artist Padma Shree Sudarsan Patnaik unveiled the envelop at the exhibition which was inaugurated by Pawan Kumar Singh, Director, Postal Services, Odisha Zone.
Among others, senior superintendent of Puri Postal Zone, Srikant Kar was present.
A competition was held among the students on the occasion.
A number of memorial postal tickets, special postal envelops and tickets on eminent personalities are on display at the exhibition.
