Dear Comrades
We are happy to declare
that out of 212 P As, 203 Postmen, 27 MTS and 413 GDS ( Total 855 as per
working strength) working in 244 post offices under Bubaneswar Division, only 9
P As, 3 Postmen, no MTS and 5 GDS ( 17 in toto) from 6 post offices only had registered their attendance without any work
/ output to the Control Room opened in the Divisional Office for the purpose of
one day nationwide strike on 02.09.2015.
Thus, while 98.02% of staff
members did participate actively in the nationwide strike brining pride and honour to
Bhubaneswar Division, only 1.98% stayed away from the mainstream.
We once again convey our
Red Salute to all those Lions who fought for the welfare of the working class.
