Divisional Union requests interference of Circle Unions to ensure timely supply of uniform cloths etc to the uniformed staff.

Sub: Supply of Uniform Cloth, Umbrella, Chappal etc. to the uniformed staff – Case of Bhubaneswar Division. 

Dear Comrade,          

This is to intimate that the uniformed staff of Bhubaneswar Division have not been supplied with the required cloth, umbrella and chappal etc for last 3 years. In this context, the AIPEU, Gr.-C, and AIPEU, Postman & MTS, Bhubaneswar Divisional branch had jointly discussed the issue with the SSPOs, Bhubaneswar Division ensuring early supply and the latter had taken up the issue with the Superintendent, PSD, Bhubaneswar.

In his reply communicated vide PSD letter No. U/3/SSPOs-BBSR Dn/92, dated 18.12.2015, the Superintendent PSD has informed the SSPOs, Bhubaneswar Division that required tender to obtain the materials has not yet been floated by them due to paucity of funds for which Circle Office has already been requested.

Thus, the case is presently pending at C O.

A copy of the above reply of the Supdt. PSD communicated to this Divisional Union by the SSPOs, Bhubaneswar Division vide latter’s letter No. J/G-53(Sub)/Ch.-IV, dated 12.01.2016 is attached here with for taking up the issue at C O level for doing needful.

This may be the situation for other divisions also.

As such, the Circle administration may be appraised for immediate allocation of funds as raised by the Superintendent , PSD for taking further necessary action ensuring ealy supply of uniform.
