National Federation of Postal
Employees is the only organization which is more concerned about the problems of the postal employees and it
was again proved on 03.04.2016 when AIPEU, Group-C, Puri Division organized a
grand workshop on CBS Finacle in the Conference Hall of Hotel New Rock Bay, Puri.
While such workshops are required to
be organized by the administration, AIPEU, Group-C expressed its concern to
sort out the problems arising out of CBS Finacle by organizing the above
workshop which was participated by the Manager, SPoC and S As of the CBS CPC, Odisha Circle namely Sri
Kedarnath Satpathy, Sri S S Tripathy and
Sri Swadhin Behera. In addition, Sri
Ranjan Ku. Rout, SA, Sundargarh Division and Sri Purna Ch. Moharana, SA and
Divisional Secretary, AIPEU, Gr.-C, Koraput Division also attended the
Workshop.
At the outset, the Workshop was graced
by Sri Banamali Patra, ASPOs (OD), Puri Division who suggested the participants
to go ahead with the changes adopted by the Department of Posts.
Addressing the participants, Com. R C
Mishra, Circle Secretary, AIPEU, Group-C, Odisha Circle and Vice-President, CHQ
described the inactions of the administration in spite of repeated
correspondences, meetings and personal discussions to sort out the Finacle
issues. Odisha Circle branch has already asked the Circle administration to
resolve the Finacle issues within a definite period failing which the union
will be compelled to adopt the agitational path.
Com. B Samal. Vice-President, AIPEU, Group-C,
Odisha Circle and Divisional Secretary, Bhubaneswar Division raised some core
issues arising out of I T Modernization Project, 2012. He suggested the members
to show their strength by active participation in all union activities so that
the Union can take a right decision in a right direction for resolving the
issues.
Com. P C Moharana, Divisional
Secretary, Koraput Division narrated the difficulties faced by him as a System
Administrator and gave some constructive suggestions to the Circle Secretary
for taking at appropriate level as early as possible for the betterment of the
employees.
Shri K N Satpathy, Sri Swadhin Behera,
Sri Ranjan Ku. Rout and Sri S S Tripathy gave some feasible solutions to many
problems jointly by a Power Point Presentation prepared by the CBS CPC, Odisha
Circle.
In the second session, there was an
interactive programme. The Team, CBS CPC, Odisha Circle and Sri Ranjan Ku. Rout
suitably answered the queries of the participants.
The Workshop arranged by Com. Rajesh Ch. Bohidar, Divisional Secretary, AIPEU, group-C,
Puri Division was presided by Com. H K
Muduli, its ex-President.
At last, all the participants were
presented with mementos and vote of thanks was given by Com. Bohidar.
Above all the Workshop was quite
successful. The arrangements including lunch were very nice.
