 The officials should join in their new place of posting within one month from the date of issue of posting order, i.e. by 07.04.2013  failing which it will be presumed that the official has declined the promotion. Declinations, if any, submitted by the officials should be forwarded to C.O. by 15.04.2013 positively.

            The officials may exercise their option choosing the date of fixation of their pay under FR-22(1) (a) (i) within a month from the date of promotion. The official already given financial upgradation under MACPs scheme are not eligible for benefit of fixation of pay by virtue of their promotion.

            Before giving promotion to the approved officials it should be ensured that no disciplinary/vigilance case is pending or current against them .

            Relevant charge reports may be sent to all concerned in due course.

            This issues with the approval of the Competent Authority.
