Some of our letters addressed to the Divisional administration which have been posted earlier in this blog have been suitablly replied. I am posting all those replies of the Divisional administration for information of our common members.
1. Regarding recovery of Monthly Union Subscriptions:

Sub : Recovery of monthly union subscription and effecting payment to the unions.
Please refer to Directorate letter No.13/01/2010-SR dated 18.02.2010 & 03.03.2010 circulated vide C.O. letter No.WL/20-1/Rlg/Corr/Ch.III dated 03.03.2010 & 08.03.2010 and Directorate letter No.13/02/2010-SR dated 18.02.2010 circulated vide C.O. letter No.WL/20-1/Rlg-Corr/Ch.III dated 25.02.2010 forwarded vide this office letter even number dated 21.05.2010 along with details of valid members of different unions/service associations in Bhubaneswar Division after re-verification of membership during the month of May – 2010.
As per orders, the DDO after making the deductions will remit the amount to the Divisional Secretary of the concerned union who in turn will remit the amount to the All India, Circle as per the quota fixed in their respective constitutions. The total deductions and total number of persons covered by the amount remitted should also be specified. Remittance to the union should on no account be made by means of service money order.
But it is alleged time and again by various unions that the monthly union subscription is not being paid to them regularly and according to the members of their unions. In this regard the letter No.UN-BN/AIPEU-Gr.C/01-10/2010 dated 19.10.2010 of the Secretary, AIPEU, Gr.-C, Bhubaneswar Divisional Branch addressed to you and copy endorsed to the undersigned may please be referred to. It appears that the instructions of the Department in this regard is not strictly adhered to.
In the circumstances, you are instructed to bestow your attention to the issue personally and ensure payment of pay & allowances to all the employees of the Division through Bank / Post Office S.B. Account from this month deducting the monthly union subscription from each employee in favour of the union to which he belongs and to remit the same to the Divisional Secretary of the concerned union regularly in each month. This may be given priority.

Sir,
Most of the MIS Incentive Bills are already passed and rest will be passed soon.I would request you to please instruct members of your Union to submit the MIS incentive Bills regularly in every month for facilitating the sanction of Bills in time.As regards Speed Post Incentive Bills the same will be sanctioned soon.OTA bills will be sanctioned up to July'10 after receipt of some clarification from CO.
You are requested to bear with the delay due to the facts known to you.
