Promotion to APM ( Accounts) Cadre in Odisha Circle

The Competent Authority has been pleased to approve promotion to APM (Accounts) cadre from among the PO & RMS accounts qualified candidates (Postal Wing) in the scale of Pay 5200-20200 (PB-I) with Grade Pay of 2800/- form the date of assumption of charge. The officials on promotion are allotted to the Region noted against each.

The PMG, Sambalpur/Berhampur Region are requested to issue posting orders to the officials allotted to the Regions.
The officials so promoted may exercise their option for fixation of under FR-22(1)(a) (i) within a month from the date of assumption of charge.

The un-willing oficial may decline the promotion if not interested to the cadre.As this promotion does not involve any financial benefit , the 6th pay commsion report on this matter should be interpreted correctly with the intention of the pay commmsion. The refusal of getting next ACP if promotion declined in this case is not the same as the intention of the 6th pay commsion on the said matter .If there is no finncial benefit in getting such promotion , there is no need to stop of ACP by the govt.on the plea that the promotion has been offered and declined by the oficial.The above point should be deserved more attention and analysis.
