Sub- Appraisal/approval of EFC Memorandum on ‘Estates Management’- regarding

      I am directed to intimate that the Deptt of Posts has forwarded a copy of ‘EFC Memorandum’ under the Plan scheme ‘Estates Management’ for 12^th Plan to Deptt of Expenditure(MoF) & Planning Commission  for perusal and offering comments.

   While furnishing the comments, the Planning Commission has observed that proposal for construction of new staff quarters is not justified as the Deptt. of Posts has got a large  inventory of staff quarters across the country. Besides, this Deptt has to put on accord the satisfaction level of staff quarters.The Directorate vide  letter No. 18-56/2010- Bldg  dated 30-04-have required the information as per the proforma given below for furnishing a reply to the Planning Commission

   The Directorate vide letter No. 18-56/2010-Bldg dated 30-04-2013 has asked to furnish the  information   as per the proforma . As such, it is requested to furnish the required information   in respect of your unit as per the proforma given below immediately by return email/FAX so that the consolidated report may be furnished to Directorate for onward transmission of the report to MOF/Planning Commission. This may be treated as Most Urgent
