Sub:   Engagement of Direct Agents of PLI/RPLI for the financial year 2013-14- Regarding.

                      This is regarding engagement of Direct Agents of PLI/RPLI for the FY 2013-14. PLI Dte through. D.O. letter no: 18-12/2013-LI dated 18.04.2013 has instructed to engage minimum of 30RPLI and 20 PLI agents per division during the FY 2013-14. Each of Direct Agents has to pass licentiate examination within 1 year of engagement. Direct Agents have to be given mandated 3 days licentiate training in co-ordination with Insurance Institute of India, Mumbai after 3 days in house training to them by ASP/ IP and DO (PLI) In view of the above, notification will be issued shortly on leading newspapers for wide publicity. In this connection a further clarification on recruitment of DAs by Divisions received from PLI Dte. is attached herewith for necessary follow up action.
