Space X offers first Mars POSTAL SERVICE - but it costs $62m per load to send cargo to Red Planet

But it doesn't come cheap - with a delivery starting at about £42 million.

The company, owned by billionaire Elon Musk , already have ambitious plans to launch a rocket to the red planet in 2018 - the next time Earth and Mars will be at the closest point in their orbits.
