Dear Com.,
Hope decision
would be taken favourably to go ahead
for the announced Indefinite Strike from 11th
July 2016 in total, with all the Central Govt. Employees’ organizations
including Railways and Defence.
All the demands
we have placed are equally important like GDS demands and Postal charter of
demands, like the Minimum pay and Fitment formula. Withholding of Annual
Increments in the name of non performers and introducing Efficiency Bar for
MACP/ promotions and introduction of compulsory retirement, will definitely
curb the trade union activities and will pose a question on the existence of
Unions.
Hence, it is of
my personal opinion, as well as opinion of the major chunk of the employees
that the announced strike should not be withdrawn, unless there is an agreement
with the Govt/Empowered Committee on all the charter of demands with recorded minutes. If consensus could not be
arrived with the Main Players of the NJCA, our mighty organization should make
a record of protest, by means of at least two days strike, pressing for
our demands.
Hope, you would
take a firm decision on this, to keep
the high values of our mighty organization.
Fraternally
yours,
J. RAMAMURTHY,
