Com. Jagannath Giri, a veteran postal trade union
leader of Odisha Circle who was under medical treatment due cerebral hemorrhage for last
two days expired at about 1 AM on 07.10.2014 in S C B Medical College and
Hospital.
As the Divisional Secretary of AIPEU, Group-C,
Cuttack City Division and Asst. Circle Secretary, AIPEU, Group-C, Odisha Circle,
the valuable contribution of late Com. Giri till 1999 will be remembered for
ever. Even after his retirement, Com. Giri had remained active in various trade
union activities undertaken by the members of Cuttack City Division. Late Com.
Giri has left three sons and one daughter ( all married ) behind him.

family of Odisha Circle prays Lord Jagannath to shower His unending blessings
over the bereaved family members to bear with such irreparable loss.
