Supply of DDR – I and DDR – II RAM to Computerized Post Offices of Bhubaneswar Division:

Dear Comrades,
As you know the computers initially installed in the Post offices were of only 256MB capacity. After introduction of additional services like eMO. WUMT and other electronic products, the systems became very slow warranting up-gradation of memory. The union has also taken an item in this regard with assurance to purchase RAMs subject to availability of funds. However, only  Sahidnagar MDG was earlier been provided with DDR –I / DDR-II RAM. Now, the SSPOs, Bhubaneswar has placed order to M/s Infotech Technologies to supply DDR –I / DDR-II RAM to 23 computerized offices of Bhubaneswar Division.
The copy of the Divisional Office letter No. Comp/Network/09-10/Ch.-I, dated 28.12.2010 id reproduced below for information of our members.
