HRD Minister Kapil Sibal gets Telecom
UPA ignores ally DMK, chooses Kapil Sibal as Telecom Minister.
After it was initially decided that the Prime Minister would be in charge of the Telecom ministry vacated by DMK's A Raja - at least certainly till the end of the winter session of the Parliament, the government lost no time in declaring his successor on Monday afternoon - Human Resource Development Minister Kapil Sibal.
Sibal, government sources said, has been chosen because of his "clean image". He will have additional charge of the portfolio at the moment.
It has also now emerged that the government was not keen on giving the berth to any other the other DMK MPs though the names of Kanimozhi and T R Baalu have done the rounds since Raja's resignation last night.

Selection of a veteran and seasoned personality of Mr. Sibal stature, a definite blessing for the ministry of communication. Not only he has a clean immage but is innovative and dares for implementation of modernisation and perhaps likes to change the orthodox blocks with result orientd contemporaries. Not to forget his humaniterian touch to the employees like K.V (Kendriya Vidyalay Sangathan)for upliftment of their morality. Perhaps it a blessing in disguise that Mr Sibal is choosen ahead of any other. Lets hope he is appraised of the concerns and right concepts new ministry and paves way for clearing mnay pending issues. We must be thankful to Postal Employees Union, Group-C Bhubaneswar Division for publishing and linking the blogspot to such issues.
