                    I am directed to intimate that a number of requisitions have been received from the units for additional supply of OMR Kit applications for holding of PA/SA Direct Recruitment for the year 2011 & 2012. Additional requisition was accordingly placed with the outsourced agency under intimation to Directorate.

                    It is now intimated by Directorate that it is difficult to meet the demand for additional forms within the existing stock supplied. Directorate has now decided to make the application forms available in the indispost website (www.indiapost.gov.in) for enabling the applicant to download the same. Online application Kits will be available on Indiapost website from 03.09.2012 to 25.09.2012.

                    You are requested to give wide publicity about the availability of  the application forms on Indiapost website at the Identified Post Office Counters. A specimen of the notice to be put up in the counter of the identified post offices for this purpose is attached.

The Department of Posts has arranged online downloading of Applications for Recruitment of Postal Assistants / Sorting Assistants under Direct Recruitment with effect from 03.09.2012. The candidates are requested to log on to India Post website (www.indiapost.gov.in) for downloading the Application Form online. The applicants are requested to avail this facility to submit their applications early.
