Subject: Delivery of Orissa High Court Speed Post Article and booking of Proof of Delivery(POD) through Speed Post by the delivery PO.

 

 Dear Sir,

              Please find the booking data of Speed Post Articles booked by Orissa High Court  at Chandinchouk HO on dated 15/1/15 & 17/1/15 for your kind information. After delivery of the Speed post article by the delivery Post office the POD is required to be booked as Speed Post article instead of sending as Ordinary Post as the department has already collected the Speed post Charges for the POD from the Orissa High Court at the time  of booking of the Speed post containing Notices/Summons etc. So all are requested to instruct  & contact the Post offices coming under their jurisdiction to book the POD as Speed post article. The Standard Operating Procedure has already been circulated by Circle Office as well as forwarded by this office to all the Divisions may please be forwarded to all the Delivery Post offices for their information. and following the correct procedure at the time of delivery etc. Please also contact the Post offices as per the list enclosed to deal the articles properly as instances has come to the notice of this office that POD(Proof of Delivery ) are returned as ordinary article instead of booking the same as Speed post article by the delivery Post offices.

 

             Since this is a prestigious business deal with the Orissa High Court ,Cuttack and Chief PMG is personally monitoring the progress ,development and proper implementation of the deal all are earnestly requested to deploy the Asst of the BD Cell and ASP OD of the Division to monitor smooth implementation of the project. Success of the present deal will be bringing another business from all  the Subordinate Courts  of the Circle
