One-day strike by NFPE unions in Tamilnadu Circle on 26.03.2015

Despite of  making earnest efforts to have negotiations across the  table,  the administration is reluctant and replied that they would discuss  on the issues only by  second  week of April 2015.

Even they are reluctant in attending  ALC for conciliatory talks.Despite of summoning the DPS HQ in the  afternoon of 25.3.2015,  no body turned up for  any discussions. 

Having no other go  we , all the 9 unions under NFPE in TN Circlestaged a powerful demonstration in front of o/o CPMG, TN at the close of 25.03.2015 and  announced total strike throughout Tamilnadu on 26.03.2015.

Now the strike is going on . The reports received from Divisions/Branches / rank /cadres /wings are  almost  total in NFPE.  This is encouraging report and  the  leaders are overwhelmed.

The copy of minutes recorded by the ALC  in the fore noon and after noon session on 25.3.2015 are  enclosed herewith. Also the  letter given by all the Circle Secretaries to the  ALC (CENTRAL) is  also enclosed herewith for your  kind information.

The photos  taken  during the  demonstration held  in front of o/o CPMG, TN on the  evening of 25.03.2015 is also  enclosed herewith. 

Pl note that  , even after issuance of the strike notice, even after  serving notice by the Labour Commission for conciliatory  talks, even after summoning of the  decision making authority for negotiations by the  ALC, the  Circle administration is not responding.

This is a clear case of  unfair  labour practice and violation of  the  provisions of  ID ACT 1947, which is a punishable offence.Now the strike is forced on the shoulders of the  staff side by the Circle

administration.

Hence, you are requested to  kindly intervene in  this matter so as to  have a  meaningful dialogue with the  striking unions by TN Circle Admn. at the immediate in order to settle the  problems placed in the charter of demands
