CIRCULAR

In accordance with the call of National Federation of Postal Employees & AIPEU GDS (NFPE) vide letter No PF-PJCA/2015 dated 19-10-2015 and declaration of Strike campaining programme to the circles, the Circle Secretaries of P3, P-IV, R3, R-IV, GDS (NFPE), AIPSBCO Association & AIPAOEU, Gr-C & MTS, PPP, BBSR convened an urgent meeting on 25-10-2015 at P.S.D, Bhubaneswar to chalk out plans & programmes for total success of strike on 01-12-2015 & 02-12-2015 in Odisha Circle. It was unanimously resolved to implement direction of NFPE & AIPEU GDS (NFPE) in scenario of callousness of Department of Posts on revision of wages & Service condition of the Gramin Dak Sevaks by bringing their issue under purview of 7^th CPC, implementation of Cadre Restructuring agreement, filling of vacant posts in all cadres and for stopping of harassments in the name of implementation of various services, schemes & trade union victimisation. A letter in this connection has been submitted to Secretary, Department of  Posts on dated 19-10-2015 by S.G. NFPE & G.S AIPEU GDS (NFPE), expressing their grave concern and declaring to go on 2 days strike on 01-12-2015 and 02-12-2015 on following demands:-

1.     Include GDS in 7^th CPC for wage revision and other service related matters.

 

2.     Implement Cadre Restructuring proposals in all cadres including Postal Accounts & MMS.

 

3.     Fill up all vacant posts in all cadres of Department of Posts (i.e. PA, SA, Postmen, Mail Guards, Mail Man, MMS Driver & other staff in MMS, PA CO, PA SBCO, PO Accounts, Civil & Electric wings staff) as per actual sanctioned strength.

 

4.     Stop all types of harassment in the name of implementation of various new services and schemes and Trade Union Victimisation.

Side by side, the Tour Programme of All India Leaders to each Circles have been notified and Com. Pranaba Bhattacharya, G.S. Admn. is coming to Bhubaneswar on 06-11-2015 to address the strike meeting at Bhubaneswar GPO Campus (Venue subject to change with consultation with divisional secretaries of Bhubaneswar) at 18 Hrs. The divisional secretaries of Bhubaneswar will make necessary arrangement for the meeting and give wide publicity for large gathering of comrades in the said meeting. The Divisional Secretaries of Puri are requested also join in the said meeting with their comrades. All the Circle leaders of every wing will attend the above strike meeting.

Further, it has been also decided to hold strike meetings at the following places and all the Circle Secretaries will attend positively and address the strike meetings.
