Sub:        Non-issuance of Posting Order in favour of Postmasters ( HSG-II) previously posted and who were required to be relieved due to identification of the post as Postmaster ( Grade – II )  - Case of Bhubaneswar Division

Dear Comrade,
In accordance with the C O  Memo No.ST/26-26/2010, dated at Bhubaneswar the 13.05.2011, Shri U.K. Lenka, Postmaster, Balasore HO ( officiating in HSG – I ) has been approved for appointment to  the cadre of Postmaster (Grade-II)  and posted as Postmaster, Bhubaneswar – 2 MDG. But contradictorily, no posting order was issued in favour of Sri Subhasisa Pradhan who has been regularly posted as Postmaster ( HSG - II ), Bhubaneswar – 2 MDG. As a result when Sri Lenka joined in Bhubaneswar – 2 MDG on 14.07.2011 afternoon, Sri Subahsisa Pradhan was compelled to be relieved since the post of Postmaster, Bhubaneswar – 2 MDG has been identified for Postmaster ( Grade – II ).
But since no posting order has been issued  by the Circle Office  so far and the Divisional Office has also not made any local arrangement in this regard, no alternative was left to Sri Pradhan but to proceed on leave.
As seen, there has been no instruction / relieving arrangement / posting orders for the existing incumbents in the above original order issued by the circle office. This may be the situation in other divisions also.
However, as per the latest information available with this union a proposal from our Divisional office  has already been sent to Circle office with suggestion to post Sri Pradhan in Nimapara MDG , the approval ( or otherwise ) of which is still awaited.
Therefore, it is suggested to appraise the Circle administration to issue necessary posting orders in favour of such regular HSG-II officials to avoid any future complicacies.
With greetings.
Comradely yours,

(Bruhaspati Samal)
D/S, AIPEU, Gr.-C
Bhubaneswar Division
