Sub –Identification of 100 Villages for 100% Savings Bank compliant.

Sir,

            I am directed to intimate that the Member(P) vide D. O. Letter No- Member(P)/ FR(MOC)/2012 dated 08.04.2012 (copy enclosed) has directed to identify 100 villages in each Circle to make the residents of those villages 100% Savings Bank compliant which will earn an additional revenue to the Department. The number of villages allotted to the units is as under:

Sl. No	Name of the Region	Number of villages allotted
1.	Head Quarters Region	40 villages i.e. 5 villages in each Division
2.	Berhampur Region	30 villages
3.	Sambalpur Region	30 villages

             The information relating to villages identified, Name of Division, District, Population of each villages( Target population), Target SB Accounts and Proportionate target of each month may be submitted in the enclosed proforma latest by 26.04.2012. The total target is required to be achieved by 31.03.2013. As such the villages where there is prospect of opening of various SB accounts may be nominated.

PMG, Sambalpur and Berhampur are requested to identify the villages in respect of each Division and submit the consolidated report.

All the SSPOs/ SPOs in HQ Region are requested to identify 05 (five) villages in their unit and submit the report in the scheduled date.

This is most urgent.
