Sub:     Launching of ‘Swach Bharat’ Mission by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India.

             The Hon’ble Prime Minister of India has appeal to each and everyone to plan and wholeheartedly engaged in the task of cleaning of work places and surroundings etc. to make a “Swach Bharat’. The copy of the appeal dated 25th September 2014 is enclosed herewith for better reference and necessary action.

            The Secretary Posts has also emphasised on an intensive National Cleaning campaign from 25.09.2014 to 31.10.2014 at the first phase and its continuance for the next five years. During the campaign various activities including administration of ‘Swach Sapath (Pledge)’ on 02.10.2014 by all employees in all offices. The copy of Secretary Posts DO letter No.87-04/2014-Corrd./O&M dated 24.09.2014 is also enclosed herewith for your perusal, guidance and implementation of the National Cleaning campaign effectively.

            A detail report on action taken and activities undertaken during the above campaign period should be submitted to this office through e-mail latest by 10.30 hrs of 01.11.2014  for submission of a consolidated report to the Secretary, Posts on the very day
