Bhubaneswar Division.
Sub: Willingness for posting as Sorting Postman,
Overseer Cash, Overseer Mails and Head Postman.
Some
posts of Sorting Postman, Overseer Cash, Overseer Mails and Head Postman are
vacant or likely to be vacant in recent future due to retirement of officials
on superannuation. Such vacancies are to be filled up amongst the willing
Postmen staff on seniority – cum – fitness basis.
Therefore
options / willingness are hereby called for from the eligible and willing
Postmen of this Division for their posting to the cadre of Overseer (Cash &
Mails), Sorting Postman & Head Postman. It may be made clear that
conditional willingness for posting as Overseer / Sorting Postman / Head
Postman etc. in a particular post / place will not be accepted. It may be made
clear that exercise of option does not confer any right on the official for
posting to the cadre of Overseer / Sorting Postman / Head Postman etc. However,
seniority – cum – fitness and other conditions of service as required under
rules will be taken into account while considering the cases.
The
contents of this letter should be circulated among all the eligible Postmen
staff of your office and their signature obtained on the body of this letter in
token of having seen it. The written willingness of the willing officials so
obtained at your end should be forwarded so as to reach this office on or
before 13.04.2017 after which
no application will be entertained.
