INFORMATION UNDER R T I ACT
OBTAINED FROM SSPOs, BHUBANESWAR DIVISION
AND SUBMITTED TO CIRCLE UNION / CHQ

Dear Comrades,
You might have watched that our CHQ vide its messages published on 21.08.2010  in our CHQ’s website under General Secretary’s Desk had asked for  obtaining information under RTI on certain points from respective Divisional Heads.
Accordingly , this Divisional Secretary had requested the SSPOs, Bhubaneswar Division on 27.08.2010 and the SSPOs, Bhubaneswar Division, vide his letter No. B – RTI – 44 / 2010, dated 24.09.2010 replied to this Divisional Secretary. The said reply of the SSPOs, Bhubaneswar Division was submitted to our  Circle Union on 27.09.2010 and to CHQ on 30.09.2010.
As regards, point – H, a copy of the Divisional Office letter No. B – 9 / Rlg. / Ch. III, dated 21.05.2010 addressed to the Sr. Postmaster intimating the complete re-verification result of Bhubaneswar Division was the correct reply to solve the purpose. The required portion of the said letter is as follows.

N.B.: It is made clear that the unfilled vacancies under Promotional quota goes to GDS quota and the unfilled vacancies under GDS quota are called as residual vacancies and filled up by direct recruitment.

Whether the unfilled post under residual vacancies are included in the ensuing recruitment. If so, what is the number of posts ?
Separate recruitment process is now going on to fill up the unfilled promotional quota vacancies by the GDSs. The last date for submission of applications was fixed to 30.08.2010 and the examination is scheduled to be held on 26.09.2010. The number of vacancy is 07 (seven).

What is the number of vacancies notified for the LGO exam. (current year)
The number of vacancy for the LGO exam.-2010 in Bhubaneswar Division is 05 (five).

Whether relaxation of recruitment rules process is carried out to the wards in respect of deceased / retired under medical invalidated officials in BBSR Divn.. If so, please supply approved list from the year 2001 onwards in respect of BBSR Divn.
The compassionate appointment in relaxation of normal recruitment rules to the wards of deceased officials and officials retired on invalidation ground are being carried out at Circle Office. However during the period from 2001 to 01.08.2010, only one candidate namely Sri Kedar Guru is appointed in Gr-D cadre in BBSR Divn. under compassionate ground being approved vide C.O. No.RE/CRC/2004 dated 05.02.2004 and a copy of the same is enclosed herewith.

If not selected under relaxation rules to the extent of 5% of total vacancies, the reason for such non selection.
Since the matter is being decided at Circle level, Divisional authority is not able to provide the information.

Please supply the list of members finalized in the Division at the time of current membership verification (category wise).
The lists of members in respect of all the Unions / Associations as determined during the current membership verification in BBSR Divn. can be supplied only after realization of requisite fee of Rs.58/- (@ Rs.2/- per copy) under the head UCR in any Post Office.

Whether all the personal claims of the officials paid like TA, Medical, OTA, Honorarium, NREGS. If any bills are pending, whether the pending is due to inadequate allotment of funds, If so, what is the requirement of funds in each category to wipe out all pending bills as 01.08.2010.
No personal claims under TA, OTA, Honorarium, NREGS are kept pending due to inadequate funds. But under Medical Head, the bills amounting to Rs.4,00,000/- are kept pending due to inadequate funds.
This is for your kind information. If you are not satisfied with this information, you may file appeal to the Departmental Appellate Authority mentioned below within 30 days from the date of receipt of this information.

    our beloved secretary, frankly speaking within my heart, i am expressing my surprise that a divisional branch of AIPEU Cl-III union in INDIA can make this type of website ( blogspot) in a informatic & orderly mannner. I generally keep wathcing mostly union web site of different classes, but no where i see such type of creativity activity within a span of small period. You have again proved the deapth of your willingness to do something besides traditional welfare of whole of the employees of the department.The web site will make the Bhubaneswar Division extra-ordinary & unique as it's divisional secreatary is.Please keep faith on us & we promise we will be always with you for any activities for welfare of our employees.Keep on .
