As
per the direction of the Circle Office, Bhubaneswar Division organized the PLI
Mela on 04.11.2012 in the Institution of Engineers, Sachvalaya Marg,
Bhubaneswar. With participation of as many as 150 staff members including
Direct Agents and Field Officers , the mela was addressed by Sri Pawan Kumar
Singh, Director ( BD & Marketing ) as Chief Guest who narrated the Postal
Life Insurance as the best insurance with
Low Premium and High Bonus in comparison to any other Life Insurance now
available in the market . To realize this, the Director told that one has to
insure himself first under PLI and then mark the difference. Addressing the
Mela, Sri S K Mohapatra, Dy. Divisional Manager ( PLI ) emphasized on Marketing
Intelligence with Power Point Presentation. While Sri Seemanchal Kar, Dy.
Postmaster, Bhubaneswar GPO informed the
participants the importance of after sales service, Sri A K Nayak, SSPOs,
Bhubaneswar Division sought everybody’s whole-hearted cooperation for collection of more and more PLI
policies not only for the goodwill of
Bhubaneswar Division but for generating more revenue earning for the Department as a whole so that it can
attain self-sufficiency to thrive.
Sri Chakrapani Behera, D O ( PLI ) explained the details of
the policies under Postal Life Insurance through Power Point presentation proving
PLI the best in comparison to other insurance products. Sri Bhagabat Prasad
Das, Direct Agent, Sri Gopinath Kar, OA, Divisional Office and Sri Chakrapani Behera,
DO(PLI) were awarded by the Director (
BD & Mktg.) during the mela for
securing 1st, 2nd and 3rd position
respectively in the Division in procuring PLI business. An interaction
programme was conducted in the afternoon session with collection of as many as 390 PLI proposals for over 7 crores
of sum assured.
Sharing his experience
as DDM (PLI), Sri S K Mohapatra answered
to various questions asked by the participants and informed some technical
points to be helpful for effective marketing of PLI products.
