The
following outsider candidate who has been imparted with local “In-house
Training” for two weeks and appointed as Postal Asst. in Bhubaneswar
Division provisionally without completion of prescribed Induction
Training vide this office memo of even no. dtd 23.05.2011 has in the
meanwhile been imparted with prescribed Pre-induction training,
Induction training and Post-induction training and is
hereby appointed as Postal Asst. in Bhubaneswar Postal Division in the
Scale of Pay Rs.5200 – 20200 with Grade Pay Rs.2400/- in Pay Band-1 with effect from the date of joining. He is posted to work as Postal Assistant in the office noted against him.

The Conditions of the appointment are as follows
1. The
appointment is purely temporary and on ad-hoc basis and will not confer
on him any right for permanent employment. Permanent absorption will be
made in accordance with the rules in force.
2. The
appointment may be terminated at any time by a month’s notice given by
the appointing authority without assigning reasons. The appointing
authority however, reserves all rights of terminating the services of
the appointee forthwith or before expiry of the stipulated period of
notice by making payment to him a sum equivalent to the pay and
allowances for the period of notice or the unexpired portion thereof.
3. The
appointee carries with him the liability to serve in any part of
Bhubaneswar Postal Division and in special circumstances in any part of India. The appointee will be liable to serve in the Army Postal Service in India or abroad, as required.
4. Other conditions of service will be governed by the relevant rules and orders in force from time to time.
5. The
minimum probation period is two years. The appointee is required to
pass the confirmation examination as per Departmental rules and
regulations within a maximum of six chances failing which he will not
earn any increment in the post.
6. The
above candidates on joining in the Postal Assistant cadre will be
governed by restructured defined contributory pension system available
to new entrants to the Central Government with effect from 1st January, 2004.
