As
published earlier in this blog, we had protested not to organize RPLI Mela on
Sundays and now the SSPOs, Bhubaneswar has rescheduled the meeting to
17.08.2013 (Saturday) as already directed by C O.
We
thank both the Circle Union for its interference in the matter and SSPOs,
Bhubaneswar for sticking to Directorate’s / Circle Administration’s instructions.
The
copy of the Divisional Office letter rescheduling the RPLI Mela to 17.08.2013 is reproduced below for
information of our members/readers.

Sub
: Organisation of RPLI Mela on 17.08.2013 (Saturday) at Nimapara.
As
per CO instruction, It has been decided to hold one RPLI mela on 17.08.2013 (Saturday)
at Town Hall, Nimapara, (In front of Fire Station). All
concerned are directed to attend the mela at 10.00 hrs without fail. Each GDS
employee, Direct agents and Field Officers who have been allotted with RPLI
code number are strictly instructed to come with 20 Nos. of
Proposals including at least 2 nos of high value proposals and these
proposals will be scrutinized/accepted by on the spot in the mela itself.
Each GDS BPM should come with at least 5 nos of lapsed policies
collecting amount due for revival from the insurants for spot revival.
All
GDS employees who attend such mela will be on duty and will
be permitted to come to venue by
providing paid substitutes in their place.
All
Departmental employees who are allotted with RPLI codes and procured maximum
business should attend the mela with 20 nos of proposals with atleast 2 nos of
high value proposals.
All
the participants will be provided with 2 times tea and one lunch and all GDS
staffs will be sanctioned with the actual bus fare on receipt of ACG-17 from
them.
It
is further instructed to take care in avoiding procurement of multiple policies
of the same insurant, instead collection of policies with higher premium should
be encouraged.
The
sub divisional heads are requested to ensure that their OS (mails)
and all GDS officials of their unit attend the mela with required
nos. of RPLI proposals without fail so that the assigned target can
be achieved.
This should be given wide publicity
in all three sub divisions by the sub divisional heads.
The PMs/SPMs are instructed to inform the
BOs under their account jurisdiction about the RPLI mela and the target
assigned to them duly entered in the BO slips today positively.
The previous e-mail in this matter may
please be ignored.
