A special cover commemorating the contributions of eminent poet Gurram Jashuva and Burra Katha proponent Shaik Nazar, both of them from Guntur district, was released by Post Master General (Vijayawada) M. Sampath at the inaugural function of Stamps and Coins Fest organised by the Guntur Numismatic and Philatelic Society.
The special cover was brought out by the Postal Department.

The highlight of the event was the release of ‘My Stamp,’ a self designed stamp.
Society president A.V. Krishna Rao, secretary M.V.S. Prasad and vice-president K. Narayana Murthy and N. Kishore Babu and V. Suresh Chandra Nath were present on the occasion.
