News update: CAT CASE FILED AGAINST EXAM & POSTMASTER CADRE

                     As published in http://www.ipaspassociationpunjab.blogspot.com/ on 25.05.2011 the CAT case filed by the All India Association of IPASP, Punjab Circle  through its Circle Secretary on the direction of its General Secretary  in Chandigarh Bench in connection with  PS Group- B Examination and Postmaster Cadre was again heard  in detail on 25.05.2011. The Hon’ble CAT asked the respondent to explain the methodology they adopted to calculate the vacancies. The department could not explain their position as their own reply is contradictory and they sought time. Thereafter two call were given to argue the case and explain their position. Department evaded their presence and sought adjournment by sending their proxy counsel. Hon’ble court has adjourned the case  to 26.05.2011. Now there is move that officers from the directorate will appear personally to defend the case.
