Sub :      Limited Departmental Competitive Examination for promotion to the cadre of Senior Postmasters(Gazetted) to be held on 31.12.2011 (Saturday)

                I am directed to forward herewith a scanned copy of Directorate letter No.A-34012/6/2011-DE dated 03.10.2011 with Annexures on the aforesaid subject for information, guidance and necessary action.

2.             It is requested to bring the contents of this letter alongwith Annexures to the notice of all concerned.

 3.            Schedule of conducting the Examination as mentioned in Annexre-II of the Directorate letter under reference should be followed.

 4.            Inspector of Posts in PB-2 of Rs.9300-34800 with GP of Rs.4200/- with Six years regular service in the grade as on 01.01.2011 are eligible to appear in the said examination who fulfill other eligible conditions as indicated in para 3 of the aforesaid letter of the Directorate.

 5.            The attached Proforma may be used for forwarding the list of candidates for the examination to this office. Units under Regional Office need to send the list through ROs which will send a consolidated list to this office.
