1. As part of celebration of National Postal Week from 09th October to 14th October, a Corporate Customers Meet will be held on 13.10.2011 at 11.30 AM in the conference hall of “Hotel Swosti”, Master Canteen Square, Bhubaneswar.
2. Departmental Examination for promotion of MTS and GDS to the cadre of Postman and Mail Guard for the vacancies of the year 2011 is scheduled to be held on 27.11.2011 (Sunday) as per the revised recruitment rules, 2010 i.e. the Department of Posts (Postman and Mail Guard) Recruitment Rules, 2010.
3. The Postal Directorate vide letter No. 1-2/2011-MV dtd. 29.04.2011 has proposed for procurement of vehicles (one tonnage) for Mechanization of Business Mail Delivery and collection at Mail Hubs / Post Offices during 12th Five Year Plan. The vehicles to be operated by redeployment of existing staff or outsourced drivers.
