Hungary ( REP) vide UPU circular No.129 requests that designated operators of countries outside the European Union inform their customers of the following.
In order to facilitate and speed up customs clearance and delivery of postal items, all items which are sent to private individuals in Hungary ( Rep) from any business unit and all commercial items must be accompanied by the relevant invoice(s). Any item for which the corresponding invoice is not present could be delayed.
Further for efficient customs clearance , it is recommended to include the addressee’s fixed / mobile phone number, fax number or e-mail address on the envelope or the accompanying document.
