The following Gramin Dak Sevaks of Bhubaneswar Division who have been come out successful in the Departmental Examination for promotion to Postman cadre held on 27.11.2011 against the vacancies of the year 2011, are hereby appointed to the cadre of Postman in the scale of pay Rs.5200 – 20200 with Grade Pay Rs.2000/- in Pay Band-1 on completion of the prescribed theoritical and practical training and allotted to the Unit / Sub-Division as well as posted to the post as mentioned against their names below from the date they resume their duty.

Further, if it is later found that any of those candidate was not eligible to take the examination under the rules or instructions on the subject or other reasons, or in case, any mistake is later on found with regard to announcement of the result of any candidate for any reason whatsoever, his name will be deleted from the list of successful candidates or list of candidates securing concession as the case may be. The result is also subject to change as a result of re-totaling and verification of answer books in accordance with extant instructions. The above Gramin Dak Sevaks, so selected, will join to the post immediately after receiving necessary order from the Unit / Sub-Divisional Head concerned.
The above Gramin Dak Sevaks on joining to the Postman cadre will be governed by restructures defined contribution Pension system available to new entrants to the Central Government with effect from 1st January, 2004.
