Confederation Nationwide Tour launched in Odisha Circle

Mass Meeting to mobilize for March to Parliament held in the campus of Bhubaneswar GPO

As part of the nationwide confederation tour programme to mobilize the CG Employees for the massive march to Parliament on 26^th July, 2012 in New Delhi, the state COC of Odisha arranged a grand meeting under the presidentship of Com. M M Samal, president, Confederation of Central Govt. Employees & Workers, Odisha State branch on 26.06.2012 at 18 00 hours in the campus of Bhubaneswar GPO.

Welcoming all, Com R N Dhal, Circle Secretary R3  and General Secretary State COC briefed  the need of the meeting.

          Com. Pijush Roy,   Secretary West Bengal State Committee   and  Com. V. Bhattacharya, Secretary Delhi State Committee  addressed the gathering on behalf of the Confederation. While Com. V. Bhattacharya explained the charter of demands, Com. P Roy justified the reasons for opting such a path by the Confederation to render justice to the Central Govt. employees in general and working class in particular.

          The meeting was participated by hundreds of leaders from the affiliates of Confederation stationed at Bhubaneswar.

          Com. B Samal, Asst. Circle Secretary AIPEU, Group-C, Odisha Circle and Organizing Secretary, State COC represented the P-III of Odisha Circle and gave the vote of thanks.

Among others, Com. S S Samanta ( AIAOEU), Com. Nirmal Singh ( AIPEU GDS-NFPE), Com. S Biswal ( BSNLEU), Com KC Sahu ( Text Book Press), Com. B C Sahoo ( CPWD), Com J K Mishra  (Inst. of Physics),Com. A K Dey & S Acharya ( CGWB), Com. C  Samal ( Postal Accounts) and many comrades from Income Tax, Central Excise, CIFA, R-III, R-IV, P-III, P-IV, GDS participated in the meeting making it a grand success with a promising attitude for the forth coming agaitational programmes scheduled to be conducted by the Confederation.
