1. Sri Birabara Sahoo, Postman, Sahidnagar MDG who came out successful in the Departmental Examination of LGOs for promotion to the cadre of Postal Assistant and completed successfully the Induction training at PTC, Darbhanaga from 09.05.2011 to 02.07.2011 has now been posted as P A, Nayahat S O vide SSPOs, Bhubaneswar Division Memo No. B. 12 – 5 / 2010, Dated 12.07.2011.
2. Sri B K Kuanr, P A , Balipatna S O has been transferred to Mayurbhanj Division under Rule – 38 of Postal Manual, Volume – IV.
3. Sri Siba Prasad Barik has been posted as P A, Gop S O vice Smt. Neelima Rout , P A transferred to Bhubaneswar GPO. Gop S O is not having the basic amenities for which we have already requested the SSPOs not to post there any women employee. Posting of Ms. Neelima Rout to any town sub Post Office having basic amenities had been demanded by our Union.
4. Of late, the case of Kishore Kumar Jena, SPM, Konark S O has been referred to Circle Office by the SSPOs, Bhubaneswar requesting necessary approval for transferring him to Bhubaneswar City. For last one year we have been discussing the issue with the SSPOS, Bhubaneswar Division for bringing back to Sri Jena who is a heart patient and under regular treatment in Kalinga Hospital .
5. SSPOs, Bhubaneswar Division has asked the Senior Postmaster, Bhubaneswar GPO to submit the EST-2 and Memo of Distribution of Works of GPO within a week positively. It may be noted that this is one of the items of the Divisional JCA.
6. For formation of Orissa Circle Postal Sports Board 2011-2013, Circle office has asked for willingness of IPOs / ASPOs who want to be the members of the postal sports board.
7. The unit heads have been asked by the Circle office to nominate three officials (IP/ASP & System Administrator) for the DTS training programme to be conducted at PTC Mysore from 22.08.2011 to 26.08.2011.
8. Circle Office has proposed to procure Remotely Managed Franking Machines for which the unit / regional heads have been asked to intimate the name of the office and traffic for assessment of procuring RMFS.
9. Due to non availability of updated antivirus, there is frequent problem in day today operation in many Post Offices of Bhubaneswar Division. In spite of our request to the Divisional administration in this regard, all offices have not yet been supplied with the same. As known, even all the single handed post offices have now come under the 11th plan for complete computerization for which work is under process. Out of 71 Departmental Post Offices including Bhubaneswar GPO, we have 29 Servers and 188 nodes in Bhubaneswar Division. Till now 81 anti-virus licenses are barely required for Bhubaneswar Division. However, as known to this union, recently the SSPOs, Bhubaneswar has detailed such requirements to Circle Office. We have already requested our Circle Union to expedite the issue for early purchase and supply of the same to Bhubaneswar Division.
