Copy of CO letter no: RE/30-23/2011 dtd 05.07.2011 received through eMail Tuesday, July 5, 2011 18:33 on the captioned subject is sent enclosed for information, guidance, necessary action and wide circulation among the staff. Applications from willing & eligible candidates wishing to appear in the L.G.O. Examination-2011 to be held on 04-09-2011 in the proforma attached should be forwarded through their Unit/Sub Division Head so as to reach at this office on 12.07.2011 positively.
The unit/Sub Division Head should verify the applications strictly according to the eligibility criteria as laid down in the enclosed CO letter and cases of officials facing disciplinary/vigilance cases, pending if any should be indicated clearly while forwarding their applications so as to reach this office on 12.07.2011 positively.

I am directed to invite a reference to the Directorate Letter No. A-34012/2/2011-DE dated 26.04.2011 circulated vide C.O letter of even number dated 27.04.2011 on the aforesaid subject and arrange to forward the fresh list of eligible willing candidates wishing to appear in the L.G.O. Examination-2011 to be held on 04-09-2011 in the proforma attached.
Schedule for holding LGO Exam-2011 is mentioned below for information and necessary action by all concerned in time.

The applications of the officials working in APS received through the APS Authority may also be forwarded in time for further action at this end.
While forwarding the applications of the candidates their following eligibility criteria should be verified and their cases may be recommended / not recommended clearly taking into account the eligibility criteria. Units coming under both the ROs may kindly forward the applications through respective ROs.
Eligibility: Only the permanent LGOs who have rendered not less than 3(three) years of regular service in that grade having good record of service and conduct are eligible to appear the above said examination and the crucial date for determining the eligibilities of LGO to appear in the examination will be last date of submission of application by them i.e. 14.07.2011. Cases of officials facing disciplinary/vigilance cases, pending if any should be indicated clearly while forwarding their applications/ OMR forms.
The consolidated vacancy position basing on the reports received from ROs and divisional Units will be circulated separately.
