Happy Onam

Onam is celebrated in the beginning of the month of Chingam, the first month of Malayalam Calendar (Kollavarsham). There are actually four days of Onam. The most important day of Onam (known as Thiru Onam) is the second day. Festivities actually commence 10 days before this day (on Atham), with the preparation of floral arrangements (pookalam) on the ground in front of homes. This year, Thiru Onam is on Wednesday,  August 29 which is celebrated with traditional gaiety.
On the joyous occasion of Onam, the AIPEU, Group-C, Bhubaneswar Division  extends its greetings and good wishes to  all irrespective of caste creed and colour.
Let this festival unite all in a common brotherhood and  usher in peace, prosperity and happiness in the society .
