In accordance with the instructions
contained in Circular No. 13, dated 02.03.2014 issued by Confederation of
Central Govt. Employees and Workers, the All India Postal Employees Union Group-C,
AIPEU Postman & MTs and AIPEU GDS
NFPE , Bhubaneswar Divisional branch conducted a launch hour demonstration
programme leaded by Com. B Samal, Divisional Secretary, AIPEU, Gr.-C,
Bhubaneswar Divisional branch in front of Bhubaneswar GPO registering sharp reactions and condemning the
attitude of the Government in not
honouring its commitment of holding discussion
with the staff side JCM National Council before finalizing the terms of
references of the 7th CPC and demanding immediate acceptance of
Interim Relief, Merger of D A, brining GDS within the ambit of 7th
CPC, declaring date of effect of implementation of recommendations of 7th
CPC from 01.01.2014, parity in pension entitlement between the past and present
pensioners, coverage of the existing defined benefit pension scheme to
employees recruited on or after 01.01.2004, inclusion of a representative of
the Labour in the 7th CPC and settlement of anomalies raised in the
National Anomaly Committee.
As directed by the Confederation a
message was also sent to the Prime Minister.
