Sub:- Irregular enrollment of membership by National Association of Postal Employees, Group-C, Bhubaneswar Division.

Sir,

It is our compulsion to bring to the notice of the SSPOs that out of 14 staff members of this Division disallowed during the last verification process and debarred from membership of any union till next  verification process due to dual membership application  in accordance with the instructions contained in Directorate’s letter No. 13 / 01 / 2010 – SR, dated 18.02.2010, nine members have now been enrolled irregularly under National Association of Postal Employees, Group-C, Bhubaneswar Division as follows.

A copy of the final approved list countersigned by the SSPOs and supplied to this Divisional Union after the last verification process was completed is enclosed here with for kind reference.

Under the circumstances, this union requests the SSPOs kindly to take the following actions immediately.

1.      To  instruct the Senior Postmaster, Bhubaneswar GPO for immediate stoppage of recovery of monthly union subscription of the above staff members in favour of NAPE, Group-C, Bhubaneswar Division;

2.      To direct the Divisional Secretary, NAPE, Group-C, Bhubaneswar Division to refund the total subscriptions paid to him irregularly since the date of such irregular enrollment till date.

A line of reply on the nature of action taken is highly solicited.
