Do or Die
If not Now, then Never
United struggle is the last resort
Dear Comrades,
You might be aware that as per the programme scheduled earlier , the historic National Convention of Postal Joint Council of Action comprising NFPE,FNPO and GDS Unions was held at Chennai on 19.06.2011 with participation of hundreds of All India Office Bearers and Circle Secretaries of all unions of NFPE, FNPO, AIPEDEU and NUGDS from all corners of country.

A declaration in this regard was presented by Com. R.N.Parashar Asstt. Secretary General NFPE which was adopted by the convention unanimously.
In this context, it is our humble appeal to all the local leaders of Orissa Circle in general and of Bhubaneswar Division in particular to come forward for a broader unity to make the 5th July strike a grand success.
Lastly, we should remember that this is a struggle of good and evil. And we're the good. When bad men ( you may say the anti-employee/anti-people policy makers ) combine, the good ( you may say the trade unions fighting to save the people / country ) must associate; else they will fall one by one. All species capable of grasping this fact manage better in the struggle for existence than those which rely upon their own strength alone. We should understand that the wolf, which hunts in a pack, has a greater chance of survival than the lion, which hunts alone. Therefore, all of us should try to achieve 100 percent in our work. That's all we struggle to do. We should never stop trying until the day we die. It's that struggle to achieve 100 percent, that's where our performance lies. Thus, now our duty is to encourage every one in this struggle to live up to his own highest idea, and strive at the same time to make the ideal as near as possible to the Truth.
Success is not measured by what you accomplish, but by the opposition you have encountered, and the courage with which you have maintained the struggle against overwhelming odds. The struggle alone pleases us, not the victory.
It's definitely a struggle to prove yourself just as a good human being. I'm so proud of who I am and what I've become, the morals I have, and the people that I'm surrounded by.
Won’t you please ?
This sort of call for united strike should have been given long back ; to resist the NPS and to enhance the Grade Pay of PAs who were in a better range before 6th CPC. The leaders took too long a time to realise the wolf haunting. The new entrants to this Deptt. stands to loose nothing out of the reforms proposed. They do not have the Pension to loose, neither the higher pay in terms of MACP. Rather they may be benefited out of cost curbing management perception. It is as good as comrades showing their own shades and crying hard for a Ghost. The new recruits must be very careful to choose the platform where there is nothing but the call of a Ghost.
