Respected Sir,
It has been alleged by our divisional union Bhubaneswar branch that some officials are allowed to work in SB branch Bhubaneswar GPO, more than the prescribed period in contravention to the instructions laid down in Rule 2 (5) & (6) of PO SB Manual Vol. I. This is no doubt clear case of favouritism and has resulted discontentment among staff of Bhubaneswar GPO.
The letter from the divisional secretary Bhubaneswar division in this connection, received through e mail is itself self explanatory and sent herewith for favour of necessary suitable action. The matter was taken up by the divisional union at the end of SSPOs Bhubaneswar has yield no fruitful result.
On the circumstances, it is requested for kind intervention in the matter and instructions may kindly be issued to Sr. PM Bhubaneswar GPO to act as per the rule at force to avoid strong resentment of staff at Bhubaneswar GPO.
