Informal meeting of Divisional administration Bhubaneswar with Divisional leadership

An informal meeting was conducted by the Divisional administration with the Divisional leadership on  19.09.2013 at 17.00 hours  in the chamber of the SSPOs, Bhubaneswar Division with participation of the following officers and leaders.

Official Side :

2.    Shri Bijay Ku. Patra, ASPOs(OD), Divisional Office

3.    Shri G P Kar , ASPOs(HQ), Divisional Office

Staff Side :

1.    Shri Bruhaspati Samal, Secretary, AIPEU, Group-C, Bhubaneswar Division

2.    Shri S S Mohapatra, Secretary, NAPE, Group-C, Bhubaneswar Division

3.    Shri Sudhir Ku. Swain, Secretary, AIPEU, Postman & MTS, Bhubaneswar Division

4.    Shri Narayan Sahoo, Secretary, NAPE, Postman & MTS, Bhubaneswar Division.

At the outset, the SSPOs welcomed the leaders and expected the cooperation of all the unions for smooth functioning of the Division as a whole which was reciprocated by the leaders. A brief discussion was held on the important current pending issues like problems arising out of leave arrangement / deputation, repairing and maintenance of systems/nodes/printers/ups etc. due to no AMC including implementation of I T modernization Project, non-sanction of Paid Leave/Combined Duty Allowance etc. in favour of the eligible GDS, absence of specific authority to manage the short-term leave vacancies of delivery staff , space problems of Bhubaneswar GPO, non-availability of standard computer furniture and postman sorting tables in SOs/MDGs, non-sanction of OTA/MIS/Speed Post incentive bills, problems in sanction of admissible dues in favour of the casual MMS drivers, problems of the Inspection Rooms in the Division etc. The SSPOs, assured to look into the pending problems within his financial and administrative powers. During the discussion the SSPOs was reminded about the joint memorandum already submitted by the JCA and the leadership was assured to be invited to an official meeting in this regard before 30.09.2013 for full-fledged and fruitful discussion on the demands.
