Dear
Comrades,
The Divisional Working Committee of
AIPEU, Group-C, Bhubaneswar Division started collection of authorization letters
from 12.06.2015 and collected as many as 60 forms on the first two-days. We
approached one and all to join in NFPE which gave a positive sign with return
of our old Comrades.
We sincerely congratulate Com. Surath
Kumar Khuntia, Com. Jayashree Nayak, Com. Kalandi Biswal, Com. Lyakat Hussain and others who have committed to come back
shortly. Our only intention is to build a single platform in the grass root level
to make our voice unique and louder for answering all sorts of inactions of the
administration. As far as our Division is concerned, we sincerely need the
cooperation of Com. Indradyumna Mohanty, Com. P K Mohanty, Com. B C Dash, Com. Prakash
Ch. Pattnaik, Com. P L Nayak, Com. Mangal Majhi, Com. Wassiullha Khan, Com.
Satya Prasad Pattnaik, Com. Pabitra Kumar Swain, Com. Manoranjan Chaudhury,
Com. Bhagyalaxmi Dash, Com. Munim Khan, Com. Laxman Das, Com. Dillip Ku.
Satpathy, Com. Sarat Ku. Pattnaik, Com. Tapan Ku. Swain, Com. Banalata Sahoo,
Com. Sujata Sahoo and all our friends with whom perhaps we have some
understanding gap creating some difference. We sincerely regret for such unfortunate situation and on behalf
of this union, I eagerly await their home-coming. A person may be bad or good,
But NFPE is our base and identity. This vast and glorious organization protecting
our interests throughout cannot be ignored under any circumstances.
With flooring of Corporate Plan of
India Post, Strategic Plan of India Post, National Postal Policy, 2012, I T
Modernization Project, 2012 etc. while the functional activities of the Department are
drastically changing inviting innumerable new problems to the employees
especially on I T modernization Project and Core Banking Solutions, the
administration is exploiting us to the maximum extent as if we are bonded
labourers. The fixed duty hour which we had achieved through our historic
struggle movements has now been a question. Our Comrades working as SPMs in
single / double-handed delivery post offices are the worst sufferers. With acute shortage of staff due to
arbitrary abolition of posts, increased working hours due to down-sizing,
additional pressure due unachievable targets for POSB, PLI/RPLI and business
products, frequent system problems due to improper software, inadequate
professionals and outdated accessories, compulsion of cent percent delivery in
the absence of adequate delivery staff and support system, introduction of new
products and services without proper education and training to the employees, hasty migration
of Post Offices to CBS without required
technical, hardware and manpower support and such other problems arising out of
computerization and modernization, the employees are suffering like anything. The
callousness of the administration needs to be answered properly for which one
platform and one voice is bare required.
We are fully
efficient and prepared to work. But as we experience, we are not getting the
required cooperation from the administration. The required administrative
involvement and support are seen lacking everywhere which is not a good sign
for the future of our department.
We barely
require the cooperation of all and sincerely appeal rank and file to join NFPE
which is the only organization to protect the interest of the postal employees
in particular and the Central Govt employees in general.
For this
specific purpose, we conducted the Divisional Working Committee meeting on 14.06.2015.
The resolutions will be published later on.

Divisional
Secretary
