Sub- Request for supply of sufficient funds under Medical Head to the divisions for clearance of huge number of medical bills submitted by officials, suffering from serious diseases like cancer, heart, kidney failure etc & also other indoor/outdoor bills.

Respected Sir,

This Circle Union is quite compelled to bring the above caption subject to the kind notice in anticipation of some drastic measures to overcome the problems faced by the destitute officials, suffering from dreadful diseases like cancer, heart diseases, kidney failure etc. It is admitted fact that these diseases are common now-days and the officials suffering out of those diseases are being posed to serious financial crisis on prolonged treatment. Large number of medical bills are lying pending in the divisions and the same could not be disposed off due to paucity of funds, enhancing their plights.

The supply of Medical Funds to the divisions is very scanty to meet the sanction of medical bills of such patients and also of other indoor/outdoor patients. Medical advances granted to the officials are not sufficient; they are being compelled to bear the expenditure at their own and submitted the final bills from recognized hospitals. All such bills are lying pending at divisions for sanction & payment due to non-availability of funds, crating problem to them to carry out their further treatment. 

So, this is high time to assess the actual liabilities of the divisions under Medical head and a compiled figure showing real position may be projected to the Directorate for supply of funds to meet the exigency.

Therefore, it is our fervent appeal to bestow personal attention to such sensitive issue and to take some remedial measures to arrest the situation.
